China playing it's usual communist joke. They control the money and do whatever they like.

It would appear to be the case that in order to be a communist, a communist sympathiser or enabler, just make sure your brain does not engage and just follow their inane stupidity. Follow orders regardless of whether or not they fall within the realm of comprehension or understanding. Logic has been thrown out the door in that doctrine so far back as to be non-existent, as we have already seen in Russia and North Korea, blatant stupidity the communist regime demonstrated there appears to be the norm.

Only communist regimes can justify this level of incompetence and claim that it is a great idea.

One would imagine that cities are built to house people, not in China or North Korea ofcourse. That would be way too practical, That would make sense, so scrap that idea. Why not build cities and just leave them empty while millions of people grovelling in poverty are not even sure where their next meal is coming from or how long they will last in their current hovel, in the freezing cold of winter or the stench and grime of summer. It would just be way too difficult to move those people in there. Le's keep it empty as it will be easier to manage. You may have seen "Yes Minister" as well, eh!

The city, Nova Cidade de Kilamba, was designed to hold up to a half million people and features 750 eight-story apartment buildings, 12 schools and more than 100 retail units, according to the report.
State-owned China International Trust and Investment Corporation reportedly took less than three years to build the city at a cost of $3.5 billion. It covers 12,355 acres.
BBC former Angola correspondent Louise Redvers reported that the discovered that the city’s buildings are completely empty.
The empty cities aren’t only in Africa.
WND and Jerome Corsi’s Red Alert reported just last year that Google Earth photographs of China depict city after city of vast complexes consisting of office skyscrapers, government buildings, apartment buildings, residential towers and homes, all connected by networks of empty roads – with some of the cities located in China’s truly most inhospitable locations.

One does wonder how many government departments failed once again in their duties. One would imagine that a ship carrying over 4000 passengers would at least be given a cursory glance now and again, just to make sure that it is actually functioning properly. Under worked and overpaid is not a good idea as always more is demanded as well as over paying benefits instigated by left wing lunatics in some hope of "feeling" good about themselves. A country cannot keep dishing up extras without it being held accountable sooner than later and both those countries, Italy, Greece and Spain may finally realise the stupidity of their following both the Green utopia as well as the leftist moronic attitude of subsidising every citizen from the cradle to the grave.

Faulty instruments on doomed Costa Concordia ship

THE Italian cruise ship which crashed in January killing 32 people was reportedly sailing with its sealed doors open, unapproved maps and faulty instruments.
Some of the technical apparatus on board the Costa Concordia had been broken since January 9 - four days before the tragedy on the Italian island of Giglio, the Corriere della Sera newspaper reported, citing leaked documents from the inquiry.
The report quoted a response from ship owner Costa Crociere saying that it was not aware the sealed doors were open, that the maps were the captain's responsibility and that the glitches did not stop the ship from sailing.
A court hearing is due on July 21 at which the full results of technical analysis will be revealed. Captain Francesco Schettino and eight others including three executives from Costa Crociere are under investigation.
The giant ship hit rocks off Giglio on the night of January 13 with 4229 people from dozens of countries on board.
Schettino is accused of delaying the evacuation and then abandoning ship before everyone had been rescued.
The black box was also reportedly out of action at the time of the impact, meaning investigators have to rely on a computer that was switched off at 11.36 pm and may never be able to piece together the exact events of that night.

The God Particle:: Higgs Boson.

The wrongly named "God Particle" demonstrate pure vanity from scientists involved ofcourse. We were introduced to that particle in some movie where the understanding of it and generation of it, determined part of the plot. The vanity involved is ofcourse encouraged by the thought that the created is actually smarter and cleverer than the creator. There is a verse somewhere in the good book that states precisely that. All is vanity, it states. Indeed, it appears to be just that but here we finally have a scientific breakthrough that demonstrates the great ability and capacity of the human mind and some scientists. A theory which and as usual, was mocked and ridiculed as being ludicrous only to be demonstrated so far as being an actual fact.

So what does the discovery do besides increase the level of vanity. Not really much at all, it just answers another question that needed answering, so the next step could be pursued.

 Does it actually expose or demonstrate the "God Particle", we will only know that at our demise.

Will it have any practical applications?
Immediately, no. The purpose of the research was simply to uncover one of the Universe’s great mysteries and further our understanding of science. But experts firmly believe it will be of paramount importance in future research which could provide new breakthroughs

Her behaviour states otherwise and so does every time it opens it's mouth.

If you have ever listed to this female, your first response would be to turn off the sound before it's inane mumblings start causing auditory damage, if not psychological harm. It prides itself with the speech pattern of a bogan, that would be an uneducated low life incapable of proper speech but still possesses the Aussie twang. Emphasising the Aussie slang and drag it lower than having to listen to Liberace or some other inane boring stocatto. Pain does not go anywhere near describing it.

They believe it is an actual, genuine, serious topic, that they can use to demonstrate how on the boil they really are. It's more comedy than journalism ofcourse, but they pretend otherwise.

Always Hot In The Cubby House

THE SILLY’S little green imp Ben Cubby keeps the faith – the faith in cherrypicking, that is. The Arctic is melting, he tells readers, advising that the cracking pace at which ice is vanishing represents “the impact of warmer air and water temperatures” which “can be directly measured”.

Yes, it can be directly measured – as it was back in March, when ice levels were up and nudging the 1980s average. Somehow, perhaps because he was too busy being a carbon-tax supporting quality journalist, the easily distracted Cubby neglected to mention that little fact.

Amazing Shale: US CO2 Emissions Plummet Towards 1990 Levels

America’s carbon emissions may drop back close to 1990 levels this year. That result would have been thought impossible, even at the end of 2011. But the shale gas revolution makes a reality of many things recently thought impossible. Shale gas production has slashed carbon emissions and saved consumers more than $100 billion per year. Truly astonishing!
For US energy-related carbon emissions, fuel switching to gas is back to the future.  After the first quarter, the USA’s 2012 emissions are falling sharply again and may drop to 1990 levels, or just slightly above that important milestone, according to data in EIA’s latest Monthly Energy Review.

 As you can see on the above graph, Shale is the most affective alternative to the ever decreasing level of all those nasty CO2 molecules that the environmentalists have been blaming all along. It would appear that not only are levels decreasing but we won't be barbequed in our sleep overnight. Is that not great. Catastrophic Global hysterics would sensibly be a claim of the past and all those models that have been claiming otherwise are just another joke.

Too bad the CAGW Labour Government in Australia have not got the message yet as they have just introduced the highest "Carbon" tax on the Planet which will do absolutely NOTHING to cool the planet. It appears to be cooling down itself as the SUN goes into a cold period and will do until at least 2035.
